Great expedition 2018 for Carleton University.
This week we have had the pleasure to be part of a great experience beside a nice student group of Architecture at Carleton University in Otawa, Canada. 2 years ago we did our first BAW Expedition for Carleton University, in 2017 we repeated and in 2018 we have been part of his amazing Architecture Studio trip.
Last friday with our leading architect Ricard, they walked around the Gothic – Olimpic Village and 22@, discovering the origins of Barcelona, its history and culture and of course the most recent urban planning in the city.
On Sunday in the Crypt Güell enjoying as always from the genius of Gaudi and afterwards the Enric Miralles’ Igualada Zementery…an exciting trip through the stunning work of Miralles and Carmen Pinós… a master piece of the best ever Master! This time lead by Miguel Angel.
And on Tuesday launching our BAW & RCR lead by the distinguished Jaume Prat Ortells! A funny and thrilling expedition to discover the most emblematic works by RCR Arquitectes the Pritzker price 2017 winners. We will talk about this tour on next week.
We love to walk with future colleagues like them, who already know thinks about the cities, because the tour becomes a walk where we can talk in a different level about history, urban planning or different architecture concepts. It is true that we often stroll around streets without knowing too much about their history, so the walks with people who already know and love the city, always have a different touch that we really love.
