La Pedrera: The colours of the land

A show on the facade of La Pedrera-Casa Milà.

The Colours of the Land is a large-format show on the facade of La Pedrera-Casa Milà, open to all audiences. This creation, produced by the Catalunya La Pedrera Foundation and directed by Lluís Danés, has music composed by Xavi Lloses exclusively for the show. The Colours of the Land will make mappings, singers, installations and light interact with Gaudí’s architecture.

This multimedia show at Casa Milà is one of the events to celebrate ten years of Món Sant Benet, the Catalunya La Pedrera Foundation’s facility in central Catalonia. For this reason, The Colours of the Land will emphasise the values and aesthetic quality of the world of food and the beauty of agriculture, produce, the territory and the landscape.

This show will be held as part of La Mercè, the city’s major annual festival, offering a unique opportunity to get the Foundation’s festive, aesthetic and sensory messages across to more people.

Sunday 24 September, two performances: 9 and 10.30pm
Duration: 25 minutes
Street show, free
